Above all, Habitat for Humanity is a partnership founded on common ground—bridging theological differences by putting love into action.
Right here in the Denver metropolitan area, Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, Sikhs and Atheists are partnering together to build homes for people in need.
While we may disagree on many issues, we can agree that everyone deserves a safe place to call home. And when we work together to build homes, we begin to build a society defined by compassion, mutual respect, and unity.
Your congregation can support Habitat by joining an existing coalition. Coalition members participate in fundraising activities, volunteer at Habitat builds and support Habitat Metro Denver through both.
Do you want to form your own group of congregations? Habitat welcomes you to gather together supporters and form a new coalition.
If joining a larger group of congregations does not appeal to you, your group can support Habitat Metro Denver directly by raising support for a specific build site and family.
If your church or congregation would like to support Habitat Metro Denver, please contact Faith Partnership Manager Shayna Wible at swible@habitatmetrodenver.org or 530-615-7214.
