Faith Partners
Partnering with Habitat gives people of all faiths an opportunity to create a community of compassion through service.
Habitat for Humanity’s faith partnerships are founded on common ground—putting love into action. Congregations of diverse faiths across Metro Denver partner with us to build homes and make homeownership attainable for hardworking, low-to-middle-income families. We are all united in our mutual belief that everyone deserves a safe place to call home.
Faith Partners are Key to Our Impact
It costs Habitat over $400,000 for each new home that we build. In order to build more homes for hardworking families in our community, we have a constant need for two incredibly valuable resources: funds and labor. Faith partners contribute both by donating funds and sending out volunteers. 100% of faith partner donations go directly to build costs.

- Home dedication speaking opportunity
- Dedicated thank you video
- Story telling package: Blog post, website profile, and e-newsletter article
- Engagement with special events including the Breakfast for Humanity and Clergy Build
- Opportunity for after-hours, on-site unplugged worship service
- Social media posts shared from @HabitatDenver channels
- Name listed on Habitat construction site signage
- Use of Habitat logo for one year
- Regular updates from Habitat staff on build progress, homeowner families, etc.
- Habitat-prepared presentation on congregational impact (optional)
- On-site volunteer engagement opportunities before site development
- Name listed in Habitat Metro Denver annual report and on website
- Priority scheduling for volunteer day(s)
- Free access to Habitat guest speakers for congregational service, event, or class
- Use of Habitat media such as homeowner stories, blog posts, videos, etc., in congregational emails and services
Many congregations partner with us without a large philanthropic budget.
Here’s how:
Fundraising- As a congregation, small group, or ministry, you can fundraise to benefit Habitat. These fundraisers are a great way to engage your congregation in supporting affordable housing while also building community with each other.
