ABOUT US
We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive organization and we are most interested in finding the best candidate for the job, and that candidate may be one who comes from a less traditional background. We recognize that requirements for educational minimums create unnecessary barriers for under-served populations in pursuing employment opportunities in which they may be successful. In considering this alongside our equity practices, we have removed educational requirements in order to focus on candidates’ abilities to excel based on the responsibilities of the position. We strongly encourage you to apply, even if you don’t believe you meet every one of the qualifications described.

Our mission is at the heart of everything we do. We are passionate about our work, our teams, and our relationships.
We are curious. We embrace change. We take risks and initiative. Addressing a complex social issue, housing, is difficult work. We exemplify grit, determination, and innovation in our relentless pursuit to ensure everyone has a safe, stable, affordable place to call home.
We welcome everyone. We aspire to be an inclusive organization that celebrates one humanity – where equity, diversity and inclusion are at the core of every facet of our work.
We approach everyone with kindness, clarity, and transparency. We champion authenticity, illuminate our strengths, and hold ourselves and others accountable.
We have each other’s backs. We collaborate. Becoming better at what we do takes all of us. By building homes and life-changing careers, we make a transformational difference in our lives and the lives of others.
Home is at the center of all we do at Habitat for Humanity — from building homes, partnerships and hope within our community, to creating a supportive and prosperous work environment where everyone can feel welcome. Every day at Habitat provides opportunities for us to bring about positive change within our organization, our community and ourselves.
We are a group of diverse individuals inspired by a positive purpose. Building is at the center of all we do — beginning with the building of relationships and finishing with the building of communities. But it’s the in-between where we find the potential to build so much more. We build dignity, self-esteem and hope for our homeowners. We build confidence, careers and collaborative environments for each other. And we build stable communities to ensure future generations prosper and thrive. We’ve worked hard to build a dynamic workplace where everyone can belong, so we can all build a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

GET TO KNOW OUR CULTURE
Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver (Habitat Metro Denver) is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization that seeks to bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope.
Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that everyone needs an affordable, healthy, and stable place to live in dignity and safety, and that affordable housing should be a matter of conscience and action for all.
To achieve our vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live, Habitat Metro Denver builds, renovates and sells homes in partnership with low- and moderate-income families. Habitat Metro Denver is also an advocate for policies that create and preserve affordable housing.
We work in neighborhoods across five counties in Metro Denver to not only build, renovate and sell new homes, but also to do critical home repairs to help families stay in their homes longer. Throughout our 43-year history, Habitat Metro Denver has served more than 2,500 households and is the 8th largest producer in the Habitat U.S. network.
Habitat approaches accessibility from an inclusive perspective and will do everything reasonable to accommodate. Documents are available upon request, and Habitat welcomes feedback on providing goods and services to its customers with disabilities.
Any concerns or questions should be addressed to the Human Resources Department by email at hrrecruiting@habitatmetrodenver.org
Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
