Faith Partners

Partnering with Habitat gives people of all faiths an opportunity to create a community of compassion through service.

Habitat for Humanity’s faith partnerships are founded on common ground—putting love into action. Congregations of diverse faiths across Metro Denver partner with us to build homes and make homeownership attainable for hardworking, low-to-middle-income families. We are all united in our mutual belief that everyone deserves a safe place to call home.

Faith Partners are Key to Our Impact

Faith partners are critical to our mission as we create, preserve, and promote affordable homeownership. There are two ways for congregations to support Habitat Metro Denver.

Sponsor Habitat’s work and help to meet our two greatest needs – funding and labor. It costs Habitat more than $500,000 to build each home and sponsors help us raise the funds needed to buy tools, materials and safety equipment. Sponsors also send groups to volunteer and receive priority scheduling.
Serve as a community group and help meet Habitat’s labor needs. A donation is not associated with this engagement opportunity. Community groups are generally scheduled 3 to 4 weeks in advance of available teambuilding dates.

Creative Ways to Sponsor Habitat’s Work

There are ways for your congregation to become a Habitat for Humanity sponsor, even if you don’t have a large philanthropic budget.

Fundraising

As a congregation, small group, or ministry, you can fundraise to benefit Habitat. These fundraisers are a great way to engage your congregation in supporting affordable housing while also building community with each other.
