Students: Join Youth United for HABtalks Advocacy Night

Currently, 1 out of 4 children in Denver are living in poverty. Many of them grow up in unsafe, unhealthy, and indecent homes. You can make a difference.

If you’re a student between the ages of 12-18 and are interested in a night of discussion, learning, and advocacy about affordable housing, please join Youth United at Habitat Metro Denver for HABtalks on Friday, April 11th at 7-8:30PM. During this event, we will discuss the impact poverty plays for those living in sub-standard living conditions and hear firsthand accounts from families who have experienced these struggles and are now Habitat homeowners.

Youth United is a committee of high school students who support the work of Habitat Metro Denver through volunteering, event planning, youth engagement, and advocacy.

When: Friday April 11th from 7-8:30PM
Where: Habitat Denver Main Office
3245 Eliot Street, Denver 80211

*To help support the construction of safe and affordable homes, we are asking for a suggested donation of $5.
