Staff Spotlight: Meet Chris!

Chris is originally from Michigan but has developed a passion for the outdoors since moving to Colorado. He joined the Habitat Metro Denver team almost one year ago and is our Sponsorship Manager. Chris’ job focuses on creating strong partnerships with local churches and corporate sponsors.

Chris spends a lot of his time out of the office, meeting with potential donors about Habitat and how together we can build and preserve affordable homeownership.

“I love when I get to go on the construction site to thank donors for their support. It’s always fun to wear hard hats and take photos!” shares Chris.

“I’ve worked in both nonprofit and for-profit settings. But never before has my work been so tangible and a direct connection between the work and the end result of helping the community.” Chris continues, “If I do my job well, the results of the work can be seen in Habitat building more homes and that feels great. It’s a very rewarding job.”
