…you help ensure that we’ll be here—committed to decent and affordable homeownership—for many years to come.
We have partnered with FreeWill to help you get started planning for your future.
1. FreeWill is a safe and secure way to write a legal will in 20 minutes or less—for free! For a simple estate, print your legal will to be signed and witnessed. If you have a more complex estate, the same tool will help you document your wishes to finalize with an attorney.
2. Another way to build homes and hope with Habitat is to create a legacy gift in your will. Simply specify within the amount or percentage of your estate you wish to leave to Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver—your gift will support decent and affordable homeownership for years to come!
3. Rest assured knowing that your plans are in order and your loved ones are taken care of.
…and you choose to leave Habitat Metro Denver a legacy gift, we suggest the language shown on this page. Once you have made your legacy gift, please let us know. We would like the opportunity to thank you personally.

Libby Kirkpatrick (pictured here) first got involved with Habitat Metro Denver around 2005, when she volunteered with a couple friends at Habitat’s ReStore.
Soon, her son Taylor was volunteering on construction sites, and he joined Habitat’s Board of Directors in 2008.
Libby’s investment in Habitat’s mission continued throughout her life, and, sadly, culminated with a transformational donation at the time of her passing through a bequest in her will. “We are proud and honored as a family that we are leaving, in quiet ways, a lasting legacy on the communities where we live and work through philanthropic support of organizations we love.”
