Nepal Earthquake

Our hearts go out to the people of Nepal and neighboring countries after Saturday’s magnitude-7.8 earthquake and the aftershocks that followed on Sunday. An untold number of people are homeless after the natural disaster.

Habitat for Humanity has worked in Nepal for 18 years, and we are well-prepared to respond to this devastating disaster. Habitat’s disaster response teams are coordinating response operations with local government agencies and disaster relief partners.  Their current plans include:
