Meet our 2020-2021 AmeriCorps Team Members!

Meet the 2020-2021 AmeriCorps team at Habitat Metro Denver!

Erin Baldosser

Hailing from small-town Ohio, Erin is passionate about helping others. She’s excited to experience life in Colorado and get to know the community. Erin is currently earning a social work degree and is fresh off an internship with her local, Bowling Green, Ohio, Habitat affiliate.’

Taylor Cooper

Taylor is returning for a second year of service with Habitat Metro Denver’s new construction team. The Maryland native looks forward to working with a new group of people while continuing to build relationships.

Cassidy Davenport

Cassidy is excited to add Colorado to the list of the many states she’s lived since leaving her native Juneau, Alaska. Before joining AmeriCorps, Cassidy was an environmental assistant in Nashville. At Habitat Metro Denver, she’ll be working as a construction crew leader, and hopes to learn more about construction and sustainability.

Krystal Dawson

Krystal is eager to continue building on a more than 40-year personal and professional quest to help others. Originally from Massachusetts, they earned a degree from Syracuse University’s theater program before working in arts administration and the technical performing arts. Those roles, as well as longtime work on service projects, fostered an appreciation for different perspectives and telling the stories of artists in marginalized communities. Krystal looks forward to hands-on construction work at Habitat Metro Denver.

Lily DeBell

With a newfound interest in the state of housing in the United States, Lily took a year off from earning her biology degree from the California Institute of Technology to join AmeriCorps. Originally from Baltimore, Lily was motivated to learn more about the affordable housing crisis following the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has exacerbated many housing problems. She’s excited to gain skills, work with volunteers and collaborate with fellow AmeriCorps members.

Kerry Doran

Kerry is making a fresh start in Colorado with AmeriCorps. Born and raised in Connecticut, she recently earned her civil engineering degree from the University of Connecticut. Kerry brings with her a love of hiking, camping, skiing, and all things outdoors, and is excited to make her new home here.

Cydnee Dossey

Cyndee is excited to play a role in helping people find affordable housing and learning how to make their dreams reality by working alongside Habitat Metro Denver’s Affordable Mortgage Solutions team. Before joining AmeriCorps, the Wichita, Kansas, native studied strategic communication and sociology at Wichita State University.

Andrew Horne

After leading construction mission trips for years, Andy is excited to bring his skills to Habitat Metro Denver as a construction crew leader. He’s a recent graduate of the Univeristy of North Carolina, and is thrilled to be living in a new place where he can meet new people.

Alexander Inker

Moved by a civil rights service-learning project he undertook while earning his degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, Alex decided to join AmeriCorps to serve at-need members of his community. He hopes to learn a lot as a construction crew leader with Habitat Metro Denver, where he looks forward to working directly with volunteers and gaining valuable skills.

Eryn Lorberbaum

This marks Eryn’s second year of AmeriCorps service with Habitat Metro Denver’s new construction team. She’ll be continuing her role as a team leader on our home repair and renovation projects, as well as our Community Aging in Place – Advancing Better Living for Elders (CAPABLE) Program. Eryn can’t wait to make more connections with Habitat’s partner families and gain more skills.

Darius O’Tool

For his second year serving as a construction crew leader with Habitat Metro Denver, Darius is looking forward to working alongside Habitat staff and is excited to meet his fellow AmeriCorps members. He’s originally from Coon Rapids, Iowa, and attended Iowa State University.

Casi Wszeborowski

Casi is a Habitat Metro Denver AmeriCorps member alum, moving on from working with our Real Estate Development team last year to work as a construction crew leader. She joined AmeriCorps to see different parts of the country and make a difference, and she’s eager to continuing growing relationships with everyone across Habitat.
