How You Can Help Today!

The COVID outbreak is affecting everyone. Staying home, balancing priorities, and facing each new day with uncertainty… we are all living in challenging times. At Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver, we are not immune to the impact. Our ReStores and construction sites are closed to the public, we can’t work with our wonderful volunteers, and our day-to-day operations are greatly affected.

During these past few weeks, we’ve been touched by the generosity of our local community who have reached out to ask: “How can we help?”

Our focus remains on supporting our hardworking, local partner families who are struggling right now.

We know that stable, affordable housing is more important than ever, and are working hard to ensure that our partner families can still achieve their dreams of homeownership this year. In fact, we’re happy to celebrate that in just the past couple of weeks, two new families were able to close on their homes. This is a huge accomplishment!

Looking ahead, we have five more families scheduled to close on their homes in April. Together, we can make their dreams of homeownership a reality.  Here are ways you can help:

• Make a donation in support of our Emergency Housing Stability Fund, and help us create housing stability for local families.
• Join our Roof Raisers Monthly Donor Club and provide longer-term support through monthly contributions.
• Shop using our online ReStore auction sites, where you can browse amazing inventory, like brand-new appliances, gently used furniture, cabinets and more. All proceeds help support Habitat Denver’s mission.
• Designate Habitat Metro Denver as your charity of choice with Amazon Smile, and King Soopers’ Community Rewards programs.  These are free services where a portion of every purchase supports Habitat Metro Denver.
