Habitat volunteer Jim Reuteler recognized by 7News Denver as a 7Everyday Hero

We are so happy to announce that our long-time volunteer, Jim Reuteler, was recently honored with the 7 Everyday Hero award from 7News Denver.  Jim has been volunteering with Habitat Metro Denver since 2002 and is the Chair of the Speaker’s Bureau, serves on our Building on Faith Committee, is on the Clergy Advisory Council, and is member of the Loaves & Fishes coalition.  He has also volunteered with Habitat affiliates in other communities where he has lived and served as a Methodist minister for over 20 years.

Jim has said, “When asked why I’m involved in Habitat, I usually answer, ‘Because I think everyone should have a decent and secure place to live, and I like to see people’s dreams fulfilled.”

Jim’s story is airing on 7News this week, so be sure to tune in at one (or all!) of the following times:

Thursday, March 20th at 11 a.m.
Saturday, March 22nd at 5 p.m.
Sunday, March 23rd at 7 a.m.
