Corporate Partners

Transamerica

Since 2012, Transamerica has partnered with Habitat for Humanity to fulfill its mission in the community- to help families have the opportunity to live well and achieve a lifetime of financial security. Hundreds of Transamerica employees commit countless volunteer hours each year to support their local Habitat for Humanity affiliates, from Georgia to California.

Locally, Transamerica is one of Habitat Metro Denver’s most significant corporate sponsors. They have helped to fund 8 homes in Metro Denver and employees have donated more than 2,000 volunteer hours. Transamerica’s partnership also includes support of Habitat Metro Denver’s Board of Directors.

In 2022, Transamerica is sponsoring Habitat Metro Denver’s Curtis Park project. This project is part of the redevelopment of Platte Valley Homes, an entire city block-made up of nine-buildings that were managed by the Denver Housing Authority.  Several years ago, the Denver Housing Authority decided to both sell land and build new properties to create more housing options, including nearly 70 affordable units. Habitat will be building homes using historic design guidelines on two of the remaining parcels in this area, allowing for affordable homeownership opportunities.
