Habitat Metro Denver recently launched the 6th annual Energy Industry Collaboration, which engages energy companies with Habitat’s mission of partnering with low-income families to provide affordable homeownership opportunities.
The Energy Industry Collaboration started in 2017 with eight companies and has reached a new milestone this year with 16 participating companies including Concord Energy, which is serving as the Presenting Sponsor of the 2022 Collaboration.
Other partners include Chevron, Permian Resources, Cureton Midstream, DCP Midstream, Discovery Natural Resources, EOG Resources, Franklin Mountain Energy, Impact E&P, Liberty Energy Inc., Marathon Petroleum, Occidental Petroleum, Ovintiv, PDC Energy, PureWest Energy, and SM Energy. Each company contributes financially and send teams of employees to build homes.
We are grateful to the members of the Energy Industry Collaboration for their unparalleled support. The Collaboration has raised $450,000 which Habitat for Humanity will utilize to fund two homes in our Aria Development, a 28-unit affordable homeownership development located near Regis University.
