Creative U.S. Bank Volunteers Build Very Tiny Houses for Habitat

This spring, U.S. Bank employees and their families found a creative way to support Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver homeowners while respecting COVID-19 restrictions. The group of volunteers designed, built and painted 25 birdhouses, which will be donated to Habitat Metro Denver homeowners. At a time when group volunteer opportunities are limited, the team of volunteers used its ingenuity to craft these colorful, tiny homes from the safety of their very own.

“We’re so honored to have such amazing support by a creative team of individuals willing to make the effort to brighten Habitat homeowners’ days in this special way,” said Habitat Metro Denver CEO Heather Lafferty.

U.S. Bank is a longtime Habitat Metro Denver supporter. The team has provided more than $342,000 in support since 1998, with hundreds of U.S. Bank employees volunteering their time, talents, treasure and muscles over the years to build homes and participate in other volunteer engagement activities.
