CEO Build 2014 – Building Community

On Friday, Ocotber 10, 2014, Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver and Joe Ellis, President and CEO of the Denver Broncos, hosted the most successful CEO Build event Habitat Denver has seen to date.  More than 30 of Denver’s top business leaders experienced the most unique networking experience of the year, generating new business leads and forming new friendships while building on a Habitat home at the Sable Ridge townhome complex in Northeast Denver. Overall, the participants raised $85,000 – enough to build an entire Habitat home – and worked together to transform the lives of 5 low income families.

The need for affordable housing in metro Denver has never been greater.  Currently 1 in 4 Denver residents spend more than 50% of their monthly income on housing. These community leaders made a real impact in the Metro Denver community through their efforts at CEO Build.
