Celebrating the Dedicated Service of Our AmeriCorps Team

Each year as summer starts to fade and leaves begin to fall, Habitat Denver sets out a well-worn welcome mat for a group of very special, hardworking changemakers, AmeriCorps. And because Habitat is rooted in the helping hands and hearts of volunteers, their arrival is cause for celebration.

AmeriCorps is no regular volunteer program; it’s a profound commitment to serve communities nationally, with Habitat Denver AmeriCorps members devoting anywhere from 10.5 to 12 months at a time building homes, hope and community across the metro Denver area. That service can take different forms, from working directly with partner families and local volunteers (AmeriCorps National members) to supporting the programs that serve those in need (Volunteers in Service to America members).

We’re so proud of and grateful for these amazing members of our extended Habitat Denver family; meet our awesome 2019-2020 AmeriCorps Team!
