Carter Work Project Highlights

Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver hosted the 2013 Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project October 6th – 11th. In just five days, Habitat Metro Denver volunteers, staff, and partner families built 11 new and repaired 15 existing homes in Denver’s Globeville neighborhood. A number of special guests swung hammers on the construction site, including President and Mrs. Carter, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, the Denver Broncos, and the Denver Nuggets.

Local media outlets provided great coverage of the historic event. Click the links below for stories from the 2013 Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project.
