Since 1995, Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver’s Women Build program has inspired women to engage with Habitat’s mission of building and preserving affordable housing. The Women Build program has three focus areas: volunteerism, skills building, and philanthropy. We hope you’ll join us by engaging with one or all of our Women Build initiatives.
Women Build Week is a unique opportunity to engage civic-minded women with Habitat for Humanity’s mission! Women Build Week provides participants with the opportunity to network, build homes and make a positive impact in the community.
Women Build Week is also a fundraiser for Habitat Metro Denver! Each Women Build Week participant supports the project financially as well as through volunteer labor. The donation is a required part of participation in Women Build Week.
Women Build Week 2025 took place from September 17th to 20th. Stay tuned for 2026 dates in the summer. Women Build Week provides opportunities for corporations to sponsor the event and send teams of employees to build. There is also the opportunity for individuals to participate in Women Build Week. Individuals fundraise or make a donation in support of their engagement.
Each year, the Women Build program works to raise $150,000 to fund a Habitat for Humanity house, and donations made through the Women Build Society support that fundraising effort. Sign up today to join the Women Build Society!
Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver wants you to become a Women Build Warrior! Throughout the year, Women Build Warriors come together for dedicated training days designed to help prepare and educate women on construction tools, safety, and skills. These sessions build confidence and hands‑on experience so participants are ready for Women Build Week, where they can put their new skills to work on an active Habitat Metro Denver development.
