Habitat Metro Denver has received the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) 2024 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Award! This is our tenth straight year being recognized as a Sustained Excellence award winner, celebrating our home building practicesthat are energy-efficient and sustainable for our homeowners and our planet.
Habitat Metro Denver built 17 ENERGY-STAR-certified homes in 2023, and we have built 478 certified homes since 2008. To reduce energy consumption in Habitat homes, we install energy- and water-efficient appliances, high-efficiency lights, insulated windows, and advanced insulation.
