Before you donate
Please note that all donations are subject to final approval by a Habitat ReStore team member during in-person review.

Appareils électroménagers
We accept:
- Cooktops
- Stoves
- Ovens
- Dishwashers
- Washing machines
- Dryers
- Microwaves
- Refrigerators
- Freezers
Requirements:
- Must be in full working order
- Must be clean
- No damage or missing parts
We cannot accept:
- Sub-Zero refrigerator
Armoires
We accept:
- Cabinet sets
- Single cabinets
- Vanities
Requirements:
- All doors and drawers attached
- Structurally sound
- No protruding nails or screws
We cannot accept:
- Loose cabinet parts only
Revêtements de sol
We accept:
- Tile
- Carpet
- Rugs
- Hardwood
- Laminate
- Vinyl
- Granite
- Marble
Requirements:
- Must be NEW and in original packaging
- Minimum donation: 100 sq. ft.
- Tile smaller than 12″ x 12″: minimum 50 sq. ft.
- Carpet must be NEW and never installed
Mobilier
We accept:
- Sofas
- Loveseats
- Dining tables with chairs
- Dressers/chests
- Coffee/end tables
- Household desks 48″ wide or smaller
- Bookcases
- Outdoor/patio furniture (pickup only)
Requirements:
- No rips, stains, fading, or excessive wear
- Furniture must be fully assembled
- Patio furniture must be complete and free of excessive damage
- Patio tables must include chairs
- Cushioned seating must include cushions
Bed frame requirements:
Must include:
- Headboard
- Footboard
- Side rails
- Hardware
We cannot accept:
- Bunk beds
- Trundle beds
- Sleeper sofas
- Futons with mattresses
- Baby furniture
- Office furniture
- IKEA bed frames
- Adjustable or electric beds
- Waterbeds
- Storage/drawer beds
- Mattresses, mattress toppers, or box springs
Heating and cooling
We accept:
- Air conditioners
- Furnaces
- Hot water heaters
- Swamp coolers
- Fans
Requirements:
- Furnaces, AC units, and hot water heaters must be like-new condition
- Must be 10 years old or newer
We cannot accept:
- Ductwork
- Fireplace inserts
Isolation
We accept:
- New insulation, preferably in original packaging
Landscaping and outdoor material
We accept:
- Brick
- Stone
- Cinder block
- Lawn care tools
- Fencing materials
Requirements:
- Bricks, stone, and cinder block must be palletized for pick up

Lighting and electrical

We cannot accept:

Lumber and trim
Requirements:
- Minimum length: 6 feet
- No nails
- No paint
- Minimum of 100 linear feet to qualify for pickup
Miroirs
Requirements:
- Framed mirrors only; cannot accept unframed mirrors or glass
Plomberie
We accept:
- Bathtubs
- Sinks
- Faucets
- Toilets
- Bathroom accessories
- Shower pans
Toilet requirements:
- Spotless/like-new condition
- 1.6 GPF or less
- Complete and assembled
- No wax ring
Bathtub requirements:
- Standard size (30″ × 60″)
- Metal only
- Standard-size jetted tubs accepted
We cannot accept:
- Used toilet seats
- Cast iron tubs
- Kitchen sinks
Toiture
We accept:
- Roofing materials
Requirements:
- Minimum of four bundles
- Original packaging only
We cannot accept:
- Tuiles en ciment
Sheet goods
We accept:
- Plywood
- OSB
- Drywall
- Sheetrock
Requirements:
- Whole sheets preferred
- Cut sheets must be at least 4′ x 4′
- Minimum of two sheets when added to a pickup request
Outils
We accept:
- Hand tools
- Power tools
- Landscaping tools
- Bench tools
Requirements:
- Complete and functioning
- Good condition
- Free of rust
- Ladders must be aluminum or metal
- Gas-powered tools must be drained before donation
We cannot accept:
- Scies à bras radial
Windows and doors
We accept:
- Windows
- Doors
Requirements:
- Factory-painted, factory-finished, or properly primed if painted
Window requirements:
- Must be vinyl
- Must be double-pane
- Must be under 6′ × 6′
- Must be clean and intact
Patio/sliding door requirements:
- Must be vinyl clad
- Remain fully assembled in frame
- Include installation tabs
We cannot accept:
- Flat-panel doors
- Shower doors
- Mirrored closet doors
- Oversized doors (over 80″ tall)
- Window inserts only
- Window screens only
Other items we can't accept
Commonly declined items include:
- Livres
- Stores
