Energy Industry Collaboration
Habitat Metro Denver launched the annual Energy Industry Collaboration, which engages energy companies with Habitat’s mission of partnering with low-income families to provide affordable homeownership opportunities.
In 2017, Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver created the Energy Industry Collaboration. We decided to launch the Collaboration because many of Habitat’s longest serving corporate sponsors were members of the energy industry and during our decades of working together, we learned that this group never shies away from a hard day’s work. Needless to say – Habitat was eager to have more partners in the oil and natural gas industry!
This year, we are looking forward to partnering with the Energy Industry Collaboration in support of Augustana Homes, an 8-unit development in Denver. Participating companies include:

We are grateful to the members of the Energy Industry Collaboration for their unparalleled support. Since the launch of the program in 2017, sixteen companies have engaged in the Energy Industry Collaboration, and they have contributed $2.6M in support of Habitat’s work in metro Denver. Additionally, their employees have logged more than 15,000 volunteer hours.
